My disk is greater than 2TB, so I'm wondering what I should do. Full-disk encryption, or FDE, is an important factor in a defense in-depth. I tried 1.23 Hotfix-2 with Secure Boot enabled, 1.24 Beta-5 with Secure Boot enabled and disabled. I have updated Windows 10, SSD with GPT, standart partitions made by Windows installer plus some unallocated space. My questions are: First, does this answer above seem correct? Do I need to re-install Windows 10? How do I know if I'm using MBR? Apparently I need to use MBR for the full disk encryption to work? I read somewhere that MBR wouldn't work if the disk or drive was greater than 2TB. Disable secure boot, set your UEFI in BIOS-compatible mode, install the OS and then you can use whole drive encryption.
